We want to update you on the situation in Asian ports, which is affecting space availability and booking confirmation times.

What's going on?

Shipping companies continue to implement blank sailings and itinerary adjustments to manage capacity. This has extended the timeframes for confirming boardings.

Dragon Boat Festival (June 19-21)

During this period, Chinese ports will operate at reduced capacity. Increased congestion and delays are expected.

Shortage of 40 NOR containers

There is low availability of 40-foot NOR containers at China's main base ports. Returns of units have been insufficient.

Weight restrictions in 20'

Some shipping companies are applying limitations to 20-foot containers, especially for heavy cargo.

Recommendation

Please book at least 3 to 4 weeks in advance. There is no guarantee of normalization in the short term.
